Voodoolabs - Tremolo (4 knob version)

This pedal came in for some TLC. Multiple versions were made with two and three knobs, although the 4 knobbed version is the most common.

Voodoolabs produced this to emulate the sound of a vintage amp. They quote that this pedal uses the same lamp and photocell assembly as found in many popular vintage amps.

The circuit
As you can spot the unit works with a common VTL5C3... not something as found in vintage amps.  I guess they meant the whole 'lightsource - photocell' setup that is used in many vintage amps.

The input of the circuit is the common input of Voodoolabs pedals.  They can use a standard DPDT switch while maintaining some sort of true bypass feeling with this switching circuit and switch a LED. It uses a vactrol to control the flow of the audio.

As there wasn't any schematic available, I made it.

The sound
I always enjoy a good tremolo pedal.  And this Voodoolabs Tremolo is one amazing tremolo.  It nails those vintage amp tones,  though for some helicopter chops, look further
